The Kelsey Kayak Club, based out of SIAST Kelsey Campus in Saskatoon, is the largest and longest running whitewater club in Saskatchewan. With a substantial inventory of boats and equipment, the club offers a full range of programming including equipment rental, introductory pool sessions, beginner instructional courses, member pool nights, river running courses and trips.
With a large membership base there is also a strong social aspect within the club forming paddling partners and lifelong friendships. Our biannual beginner trips to the mountains are legendary and perfect examples of members giving back to the club through their assistance with the "newbies".
The club is also a key stakeholder and active proponent of the proposed Saskatoon Whitewater Park at the Saskatoon weir site.

Over the course of five pool classes you will learn such skills as entries, exits, braces, strokes and the coveted kayak "roll". Participants are strongly encouraged to take the River Kayaking course prior to venturing onto the river on their own.
